LESSON 2 OF 5
Connect pages to buyer questions
A visitor evaluating your product may need to understand a workflow, judge fit for their situation, or investigate a specific capability.
Map those questions before adding pages. A product page can explain how a capability works. A solutions page can connect that capability to a customer's situation. Each should provide the evidence and next step appropriate to its purpose.
For the illustrative developer tool, a product page might explain event inspection and replay. A solutions page might show incident investigation for platform teams, including permissions and deployment prerequisites. Give evaluators an obvious route to the docs, quickstart and repository when applicable. A developer testing the API and a team lead assessing operational fit need different evidence.
Today, choose three buyer questions and identify the page that answers each. If two pages repeat the same claim, decide what distinct question each should serve.
Use the existing product page guide and solutions page guide as references. Finish with a short page brief: question, explanation, evidence and next action.
