LESSON 3 OF 5
Place evidence beside claims
Review the statements a buyer would need to trust before proceeding. For each, record what supports it and what that evidence actually establishes.
A screenshot can show an interface. A worked example can explain a workflow. A customer story can describe a particular implementation and result. None automatically proves every claim about your product.
For our illustrative developer tool, a request-and-response example helps explain the interface. A supported code sample and visible test result help a developer assess the workflow. A claim that incident investigation is faster needs the previous process, measured period and work included in the comparison. Record supported versions; a tiny sample does not establish production readiness.
Today, select three claims. Add the evidence, its scope and any approval needed before using it. Remove or narrow claims you cannot support.
Use the case study kit to plan a credible customer story. The customer evidence organizer can help you keep observations and interpretations visible while preparing the page brief.
