Define the first useful product result

Review your quickstart's final step. Does it tell a developer how to recognize a useful result?

The Langfuse README profile provides an example to inspect: a journey organized around creating and viewing a trace. Follow the reviewed source when assessing the pattern. The directory records what the instructions show; it does not measure how quickly new developers succeed.

For your own product, choose the output that helps a suitable developer understand the value: a delivered notification, a usable response, a visible trace or another result tied to their task.

Use the developer onboarding worksheet to record the prerequisites, steps, expected output and recovery path. Then arrange an observation with a new developer in a supported environment.

This week, write one acceptance check for your quickstart: “The developer can verify success by ____.” If the answer requires help from your team, identify the instruction or interface information that would make the check possible.
